Transcription: Sega is turning up the heat on rival Sony with the announcement that they're reducing the price of the Saturn by 50 bucks for a new retail price of $249, which gives the Saturn a $50 price advantage over the PlayStation. With Sega only having sold 500,000 units of the Saturn in North America compared to over a million PlayStation units, the company certainly has some catching up to do. Sega feels this new aggressive price and the fact that over 30 in-house games created by will release in 1996, is the formula for an increased market share in 1996.
